Virginie Bonnaillie-NoëlDirector of the Public Partnership Support Department (DAPP)

Virginie Bonnaillie-Noël is a former student at the École Normale Supérieure in Cachan and obtained an agrégation (advanced teaching) diploma in mathematics in 2000 before her doctorate in mathematics in 2003 from the University of Paris-Sud 11. She joined the CNRS in 2004 as a researcher at the Mathematics Institute of RennesMathematics Institute of Rennes (CNRS/University of Rennes/École Normale Supérieure of Rennes/Université Haute Bretagne/Insa Rennes) and specialises in partial differential equations, spectral theory and asymptotic and numerical analyses. She and was awarded the CNRS bronze medal in 2008 and the Irène Joliot-Curie 'Young Woman Scientist' prize in 2009. Her involvement in research management animation, dissemination and administration led to her being elected scientific secretary of the CoNRS's section 41 from 2008 to 2012. In 2014 she became a research professor in the Department of Mathematics and ApplicationsDepartment of Mathematics and Applications (CNRS/École Normale Supérieure) and was appointed deputy scientific director of the CNRS's National Institute for Mathematical Sciences (INSMI).
